The use of an electronic prescription system (EVS) is required by law if you are prescribing medication is. Creating and maintaining an EVS is a specialism. HCI GGZ has not developed an EVS itself. HCI GGZ has links to the most widely used system in the Netherlands, such as FarMedZ from FarmedVisie.
FarMedZ
FarMedZ was developed for healthcare institutions that prescribe clinically and outpatient drugs and provides, among other things, a link to the LSP (National Switch Point). Via the LSP connection it is possible, among other things, to request a current medication overview from a client.
Safety
The use of the G-standard is included when interfacing with the EVS. Allergies and contraindications are also taken into account.
Laws and regulations
The EVSs linked with HCI GGZ meet the legal guidelines for prescribing medication.

Prescriptor
The majority of Dutch general practitioners use Prescriptor in their GP information system. The functionality and attractive pricing makes Prescriptor a suitable candidate to develop a link with. The link has been in use by HCI GGZ users since 2011.

When using this link, you will receive a referral as a "notification" in HCI GGZ and you can immediately create a file of this where the referral letter is automatically placed in the file.
