Medication
Using an electronic prescription system (EPS) is legally required when prescribing medication. Creating and maintaining an EPS is a specialized skill. Therefore, HCI CRS has not developed an EPS itself. HCI CRS integrates with the most widely used systems in the Netherlands, such as FarMedZ from FarmedVisie.
FarMedZ
FarMedZ was developed for healthcare institutions that prescribe clinically and outpatient and provides, among other things, a link with the LSP (National Switching Point). Through the LSP link, it is possible, among other things, to request a current medication overview of a client.
Safety
The use of the G-standard is included in the connection with the EVS. Allergies and contraindications are also taken into account.

The EVSs linked to HCI CRS comply with legal guidelines for prescribing medication.

Prescriber
The majority of Dutch general practitioners use Prescriptor in their GP information system. Its functionality and attractive pricing make Prescriptor a suitable candidate for developing an integration. The integration has been in use by HCI CRS users since 2011.
Safety

ZorgDomein is a referral system for general practitioners to register clients directly online with a healthcare provider.
When using this link, you will receive a referral as a "registration" in HCI CRS and you can immediately create a file with the referral letter automatically placed in the file.
ZorgDomein is also available for smaller institutions, practices and independent practitioners.
