Haarlem, Jan. 4, 2023 - With the acquisition of EHR vendors Ensemble , Evry and Footfit Software Health Cloud Initiative further expands its portfolio. This acquisition of the Evry and PodoFile products follows five previous acquisitions within the GGZ and Paramedics. These acquisitions now mark the first steps within the Dietetics and Footcare market.
Balt Delhaas, CEO Ensemble/Evry: "We never thought of transferring the company, but due to the enthusiastic discussions with HCI and the increasing administration burden, now was the time to say goodbye. To Health Cloud Initiative we can hand over the company and our software with peace of mind. It is a solid party, which also has very good contacts in the complete field of the paramedical market. "
Eric de Boer, initiator of Health Cloud Initiative: "Adding Evry, market leader with software for dieticians and weight consultants, to our portfolio allows us to continue working on our dream of improving healthcare within the Netherlands. Besides reducing the administrative burden, we are convinced that bringing together different disciplines contributes to care prevention. The addition of the dieticians and weight consultants allows us to work with the existing physiotherapists and psychologists, for example, to shape the prevention of the Combined Lifestyle Intervention (GLI) even better."
Evry, based in Alphen aan den Rijn, was co-founded in 1996 by Balt Delhaas and Harry Kerssies. Evry was developed from the user's point of view, linking client files to appointments and declarations. The EPD is fully customizable: the user decides what the client file looks like. Thanks to the fast and expert service, questions are handled quickly and the caregiver has more time for providing care.
Following the acquisition, more than 18,000 healthcare providers work with Health Cloud Initiative products every day. The current volume ensures that ever greater strides can be made in reducing the administrative burden. The ambition remains undiminished, although integration and enabling collaboration between disciplines and different products are important aspects.
With the introduction of the Dietetics and Foot Care market, HCI now has a large number of disciplines under its wing: physical therapy, exercise therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychologists, psychotherapists and psychiatrists. In addition, HCI is the market leader in independent mental health practices, and EPD supplier to mental health institutions.
Health Cloud Initiative is well on its way to achieving its goals of reaching the near-term milestone of unburdening 20,000 healthcare providers by minimizing administrative operations.
The acquisitions of Evry and PodoFile follow the earlier acquisitions of Incura, CRS GGZ software, PhysioRoadmap and the client portfolios of two software companies.
