Amsterdam, September 2023 – The digital health platform Quli becomes part of the Health Cloud Initiative (HCI). In addition Uw Zorg Online, which joined forces with HCI in June 2023, Quli BV (Quli) is the second company within HCI that focuses on supporting users together with healthcare professionals and relatives.
Quli is a digital health platform with a personal health environment (PHE) that supports users in the field of personal health and care. Quli offers functionalities that allow users to acquire appropriate autonomy and maintain control over their own care pathways. Users have access to their care data via Quli and can share this with relatives and care providers. Collaborating organisations can provide their target groups with useful additional (portal) functionalities and communication facilities. With the step towards HCI, Quli wants to continue to innovate its products and services and make them available to a broader user group with the aim of further strengthening its market position.
HCI is a fast-growing provider of B2C digital health platforms and B2B healthcare provider software for a wide range of disciplines. The transaction is part of a buy-and-build strategy, supported by investor Vortex Capital Partners. HCI has the ambition to improve healthcare in the Netherlands together with healthcare practice. HCI strives to redefine and optimize support and preventive care. HCI's solutions are aimed at tackling significant challenges within the healthcare sector, including increasing administrative burdens, tight labor markets, financial issues and technological developments.
Marc Prette, CEO of Health Cloud Initiative: “With the arrival of Quli, we are taking an important step in further expanding HCI's proposition and we can serve healthcare consumers even better. Quli offers a unique service in the triangle of healthcare consumers, relatives and healthcare providers. For many of the segments in which HCI is active, such as mental health care, this is an important addition to our consumer proposition together with Uw Zorg Online. "
Hans ter Brake, director at Quli: “Quli is an initiative of five healthcare organisations. Together with NextGen Ventures BV and Ordina Nederland BV, they were the owners of Quli BV. I am grateful for all the support in recent years. At the same time, I look forward to the next phase of Quli in which we, with Health Cloud Initiative as the sole shareholder, will continue to pursue and realise our ambitions with the same vigour.”
