What are you going to do?

At Metropole Sales, you can discover a range of Classic Mercedes for sale models, each with its own story and distinctive personality. HCI CRS Are you working on the Electronic Health Records (EHR) for mental health care? If Lead developer You'll guide our technical direction, help the team grow, and write robust code yourself. You'll structure our way of working, tackle technical debt, and ensure that integrations with external systems continue to run seamlessly, both now and in the future. This way, we accelerate delivery, increase quality, and—very concretely—create more time for care.

You connect people, technology and healthcare impact. With your coaching leadership and pragmatic approach to change, you'll guide the team toward a modern, agile way of working. You'll develop a multi-year plan to future-proof our EHR, balance innovation and technical debt, and ensure the continuity of critical care processes with stable integrations and smart release management. This will help you support practitioners faster and more effectively, and help clients get help sooner.

In this role you are a lead developer and driving force: you combine hands-on development (~40%) with technical innovation (~30%) en team building/process improvement (~20%)You'll work closely with Product and Support, align with architecture, and ensure that roadmap choices translate into workable, sustainable solutions.

  • Hands-on building & reviewing. You will help develop our EHR (including .NET/SQL), perform code reviews and ensure quality & safety.
  • Technical direction & architecture. You translate product vision into a technical course of action, tackle technical debt systematically, and align with architecture.
  • Future-proofing integrations. You ensure that API connections with external systems are stable, scalable and maintainable.
  • Improve the way of working. You implement an agile working method (agile/CI/CD/DevOps) with clear standards and metrics.
  • Coaching & growing. You are close to the team, coach developers, strengthen collaboration and create a safe, productive environment.

You make choices that are noticeable in practice: fewer incidents, greater predictability of releases and a better user experience.

Where do you end up?

HCI CPS is a software company for mental healthcare and the social domain (Youth Care and Social Support Act). Our team of professionals provides daily support to institutions and practices with products such as an Electronic Patient Record (EPD) and a Client Portal.

You'll work in a close-knit GGZ product team (8 developers and 1 Product Owner) that's helpful, down-to-earth, and focused on continuous improvement. We'll develop the EHR and portal with robust integrations, collaborate daily with Product and Support, and collaborate with other Leads within HCI, while your primary focus is on HCI GGZ. We're developing a mature working method with clear standards, code reviews, CI/CD, knowledge sharing, and increased ownership. You'll report to Managing Director Mark and, along with the Product Manager, form the team that connects product direction and technical direction.

Mark, your manager, provides clear direction and allows room for your own initiative. He's coaching and pragmatic, providing reflection, helping to remove obstacles, and translating long-term strategy into achievable steps. He supports his team and trusts your expertise.

  • Salary: €5.500 to €7.000 gross per month based on 40 hours.

What you bring

I bent een connecting, coaching leader You provide direction without losing sight of everyday reality. You communicate clearly, maintain perspective in complex situations, and know how to implement change step by step. You enjoy building and improving—from code to process.

  • HBO/WO work and thinking level; experience developing complex applications that are scalable and maintainable.
  • In-depth knowledge of multiple programming languages, such as C#/.NET, SQL, and ASP.
  • Experience with CI / CD en DevOps principles; familiar with agile/SDLC.
  • Demonstrable experience with API integrations and launching/maintaining links.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
