What are you going to do?

As a medior backend developer, you are responsible for developing, improving and maintaining our backend architecture. You work in a complex and versatile IT landscape on secure and scalable solutions that support healthcare providers and 4 million patients every day. You spend approximately 60% of your time building new functionalities, and 40% solving bugs and optimizing existing processes. In this position, you will have a lot of freedom, work together in a multidisciplinary team and actively contribute to software that really helps people. And at least as important: we work in a team that is there for each other and in which job satisfaction and impact go hand in hand.

Your tasks:

• Developing and maintaining backend components in C# .NET within a microservices architecture.
• Working on secure, scalable and high-performing APIs for our web and mobile applications.
• Translating functional requirements of POs into robust technical solutions.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, UX and product owners in scrum teams.
• Thinking about and contributing to the technical direction and improvements in our way of working.

What are you bringing?

• HBO working and thinking level (self-taught students with relevant experience are welcome).
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience with backend development, preferably in complex environments.
• Experience with C# and .NET, or willingness to learn if coming from a similar technology.
• You speak and write English fluently.
• You have experience with CI/CD pipelines and are curious about how frontend and backend reinforce each other.
• You are proactive, communicate openly and dare to ask questions.
• You can explain technical topics in an understandable way to non-technical colleagues.
